There are more than 100 people signed up to testify so it could be awhile. But the angle I’m following right now is the number of non-profits that could benefit financially from a jail closure. Despite major opposition, the city council voted unanimously to allow it into the community. “Camping Is Prohibited” Right near the Interbay encampment fire, We Heart Seattle just discovered more tents in the NW Queen Anne Greenbelt. This area connects to the N. Kinnear Park hiking trail. Look at all the used drug needles scattered in the woods. This addiction crisis is out of control.

New Crews just put out a fire at a homeless encampment in Seattle’s Interbay neighborhood. This is near the on-ramp for the Magnolia Bridge. We Heart Seattle is trying to help with outreach. But instead of finding people, volunteers found rats everywhere. What a disaster.

A K9 led deputies up to the camp near SW 149th St & 6th Ave SW but could not find the suspect. Criminals now know where to hide.
