Happening Now

Political pressure is mounting. King County Councilmember Claudia Balducci avoided all my questions Tuesday afternoon. I simply asked why she isn’t responding to Bellevue landlord Jaskaran Singh’s pleas for help even though she’s Singh’s District 6 CM. If you haven’t been following this saga, serial squatter Sang Kim is still refusing to leave Singh’s rental property. But District 9 CM Reagan Dunn went out of his way to assure Singh he’s fighting by his side. Why the stark contrast in response?

Public Testimony

Aside from Singh’s public testimony during Tuesday’s King County Council meeting, he also went before the Bellevue City Council Monday night. Singh says CM Jared Nieuwenhuis is the only one to publicly support him and show up to weekend protests. Quite telling don’t you think?

Living Rent Free

Kim continues to live rent free in one Bellevue’s finest neighborhoods.
