Authorities in Kent have arrested the male shooter. Sources say he is not homeless but it’s unclear what he was doing at this camp. Suspect was driving a Dodge Charger.

Shooting at Kent Homeless Encampment

Witnesses say a man and woman were shot several times in a Kent homeless encampment Thursday afternoon and rushed to the hospital. Authorities are still on the scene and say the male shooter is on the run. Motive remains unclear. The address pops up as 8801 S. 222nd St. next to HWY 167. The camp is also near a mobile home park and an industrial area. This is a developing story.
