SODO Homeless Encampment Cleared by Seattle City Crews

View at Twitter

A few days ago, Seattle city crews removed the SODO homeless encampment at 3rd Ave & Holgate St. I went back today and it’s still tent and RV free. But biz owners believe it will only be a matter of time before it all comes back. I have personally witnessed this spot get cleared out nearly a dozen times in the past few years. That’s a lot of tax payer dollars down the drain.

Meanwhile, many of these homeless men and women are refusing the shelter and services being offered, and are simply moving over to Utah Ave S. just a few blocks away. It’s whack-a-mole with the same people. Why is this being allowed?
