View at Northwest NowAndrea Suarez, founder of We Heart Seattle, appeared on PBS’ Northwest Now with host Tom Layson to discuss the state of street homelessness in Seattle. Suarez discussed why Housing First and harm reduction have failed to successfully address the homelessness crisis and what she recommends instead to rescue people out of mental illness and drug addiction. Suarez was also transparent about the cost she has personally paid in this work and why the sacrifice to her personal reputation, career, and entire life has been worthwhile.
