The Tragic Reality of Homeless Children in Oakland

“I’ve Been Pregnant Out Here” If San Francisco doesn’t want the National Guard, send the troops into Oakland. I spent the past week on the ground in this failing city. By some estimates, there are now dozens of children (babies) living in crime- and drug-infested encampments. The current plan is not working.

Seattle Sweeps RV Encampment, Allows RVs to Come Back in Endless Cycle

No Permanent Solution More taxpayer dollars being wasted on another RV encampment sweep Wednesday morning in Seattle’s SODO neighborhood. This is the same spot that’s been cleared dozens of times under Mayor Bruce Harrell’s watch. Instead of finding a permanent solution, Harrell will likely allow them to come right back in a few hours. During the past five years, I have personally covered at least 20 sweeps in this very same spot. This is the craziest cycle I have ever witnessed in my career. I’m not saying the RVs should be allowed to stay. As usual, there have been reports of drug dealing, sex trafficking, and assaults at this encampment. But the current plan is not working.

Human Remains Found Stuffed in a Suitcase in Seattle Homeless Encampment

Exclusive I’ve obtained video showing investigators making the gruesome discovery of human remains belonging to Shannan Marie Reeder last month. The 37-year-old’s body parts were found stuffed in a suitcase at homeless encampment in Seattle’s Dr. Jose Rizal Park. Some of the images have been blurred due to graphic content.

King County Non-Profit Steps Up for the Homeless Where County Government Fails

The More We Love While King County Executive Dow Constantine continues to fail Burien, The More We Love is on the ground right now, quietly placing homeless men and women into detox and housing. “Camp Constantine” remains a cesspool of crime, drugs, and chaos. Pray for these outreach workers. The More We Love Does the Heavy Lifting What’s even more perplexing, King County hired REACH to clear out Camp Constantine. But Burien city leaders say this homeless outreach provider contacts The More We Love to do the heavy lifting, and of course Kristine Moreland obliges since her group is just trying to save lives.

Man Plows Car into Burien Homeless Encampment

Breaking Authorities say a man plowed his car into Dow Constantine’s drug encampment in Burien Saturday morning because he was unhappy it was still up. Campers apparently bear maced the driver and cops came by and arrested him at the scene. This is just the latest problematic incident associated with this camp. Pictures Photos now coming in from eye witnesses who saw the massive police response to Dow Constantine’s drug encampment in Burien Saturday morning after a driver plowed through the fenced off area.

King County Executive Continues to Spin Story about Burien Encampment

County Allowed Campers Remarkable spin coming from King County Executive Dow Constantine. He continues to say the county “did not establish” the drug encampment near the Burien courthouse. But now admits the county allowed campers to stay instead of enforcing the city’s camping ban. County Blocks City from Enforcing Law King County Sheriff’s Deputies are contracted to enforce the law in Burien. But for months now, Dow along with Sheriff Patti-Cole Tindall have prevented deputies from enforcing this camping ordinance. Both sides are now in litigation with the city over this matter. Countdown to October So the countdown is on. Constantine’s Burien drug encampment should be gone by the beginning of October. Btw, look at some of the maniacs I Read More ›

“I’m Not Aware of That,” Says Constantine on Crime in Burien Homeless Encampment

Dow Constantine Responds I confronted King County Executive Dow Constantine about the drug encampment he set up in Burien that’s now a revolving door for criminals. But Dow is denying he’s responsible for creating this blight on the city. Do you believe him? Burien No Longer Works with REACH Dow also made some erroneous statements. He thinks REACH is still the homeless outreach provider for Burien. I broke the story last March after the city announced its intent to cut ties. Dow didn’t know about this massive development? Rescued Last week, two kids were rescued from this dangerous encampment. But Dow claims he had no idea this incident happened and also says he was unaware of all the crime coming Read More ›

Robbery Reported Near Dow Constantine’s Burien Homeless Camp

New Another troubling incident near Dow Constantine’s drug camp in Burien. Sunday evening, deputies responded to a robbery call at a gas station. A K9 led deputies up to the camp near SW 149th St & 6th Ave SW but could not find the suspect. Criminals now know where to hide. Rescued Last week, two kids were just rescued from Dow Constantine’s drug den near the courthouse. Even though he literally created this problem, the King County Executive is ignoring pleas from city leaders and neighbors to shut it down. King County Lets Treatment Beds Sit Empty Burien Councilmember Linda Akey says there are detox and treatment beds open right now in the area for the people staying in Dow Read More ›
