Wrapping Up

5 homeless encampment clearings in Seattle this week alone.

Today, @SeattleParks crews finished up on 3rd Ave near James and Cherry. Outreach and housing referrals provided. On Tuesday, @MayorofSeattle unveils his homeless plan.

Raw Honesty

For weeks now, I’ve been trying to feature the stories and perspectives of the homeless. So many lives are being ravaged by illegal drugs like “blues,” now flooding the streets of Seattle and King County. Scott needs help. But he doesn’t want it right now.

Preliminary Numbers

City says outreach workers made at least 8 shelter referrals today. Of course others refused and it’s unclear how many will actually follow through.
