I Was Chased Down and Assaulted While Filming Burien Encampment

View at X

Vicious Attack

Two homeless men violently assaulted me Wednesday afternoon outside King County Executive Dow Constantine’s sanctioned homeless encampment in Burien. This blight is being blamed for sex trafficking, thefts, drug OD’s, and is home to an accused murder suspect.

No One Would Snitch

It’s unclear if my attackers live in the encampment or were just passing through. Cops took a police report from me and went to find these lunatics. But no one would snitch.

If you have any information, please DM me or call Burien Police.

Two Children Rescued

The one silver lining: Kristine Moreland and her outreach group The More We Love just rescued two young children from this camp on Tuesday. Campers say numerous kids have passed through since Dow set up this camp just a few weeks ago.

King County Blocks Burien’s Attempts to Shut Down Homeless Encampment

Meanwhile, Burien city leaders are desperately trying to shut it down but are being blocked by Constantine at every turn because this is ultimately county property. Sheriff Patti-Cole Tindall is also refusing to enforce the city’s camping ordinance, in turn defying a recent Supreme Court ruling on encampment sweeps.

I am about to drop a series of stories this week exposing the madness.
