Breaking

Bellevue cops are looking into another horrific incident related to the Plymouth Housing/PorchLight campus in the Eastgate neighborhood.

A Seattle homeless man claims he was drugged and brutally raped by another transient outside the PorchLight facility.

WARNING: This portion of the 911 call is graphic and may be upsetting to some.

Attracting Crime

Incident happened on Friday September 26. Both men were denied entry to Porchlight. Unclear why. But they decided to camp in the nearby bushes. The shelter continues to attract criminals and deviants into the area. This is exactly what the community has been saying all along.

Bellevue PD Statement

Right now, this is all Bellevue PD is releasing.

This homeless campus continues to trigger the most 911 calls in the city.

Murder at PorchLight

Last month, authorities apprehended PorchLight murder suspect Samuel Hitchcock. He’s accused of murdering another homeless man.

Letter from PorchLight

PorchLight leaders recently acknowledged the problems and admitted they needed to do better. But the plan introduced at a recent Bellevue council meeting lacked any real teeth or accountability.

Trespassed

As for Bellevue’s Plymouth Housing facility, I’ve now been trespassed from their side of the property after I exposed all the crime, chaos, and death associated with the building.

Plymouth Housing CEO’s Response

Plymouth Housing’s CEO Karen Lee is now trying to discredit my reporting and begging elected officials to look the other way.

Problem for Lee is that we have all the receipts including 911 calls, CAD reports, and police corroborating our stories.

Many, Many Cases

The Factoria Looks Like Shiit team and I have documented most of the cases related to this Plymouth Housing/PorchLight campus. But there are so many more we have missed.

September 17 Incident

Another violent incident on the Plymouth Housing/PorchLight campus in Bellevue. Wednesday evening, cops were called after two male residents got into a brawl inside the Plymouth Crossing building. Unclear what started it but it eventually cooled down. Officers and medics returned a second time after getting reports of a serious injury. That’s when I also showed up to see a man being taken out on a stretcher. He was bloodied up and appeared unconscious. Not sure if he was involved in the fight. Still waiting to hear back from Bellevue Police. Follow @FactoriaLLS for more details.

Sheltering Felons

This Plymouth Housing/Porchlight campus has also been home to multiple felons, including a man with 57 arrests. This place needs more media attention.

Our Report on Low Barrier Housing

I spent a year investigating some of Seattle’s “low barrier” homeless housing providers and the lack of accountability is stunning. Groups like Plymouth Housing have been able to get away with it for years.
