Homeless Man’s Drug Injury Leaves Bloody Scene on Seattle Street

Drug-Fueled Human Suffering Late Sunday evening, another horrific scene unfolding in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood. Witnesses say a homeless drug addict’s abscess burst around his calf area. It left a bloody mess near 1st Ave & Bell St. Fella is probably in his late 60’s and his lower extremity will likely have to be amputated. Drug paraphernalia could also be seen in his encampment. Meanwhile, first responders did an incredible job patching him up. But off the record, they all expressed frustration since they are constantly responding to the same drug-fueled human suffering on the streets. They blame woke city leaders and progressive politicians for allowing this to continue.

Inequity and Iniquity in Manhattan Housing

In 2015, the May 15 cover of New York Magazine ran this headline: "New York Real Estate Is the New Swiss Bank Account: Foreigners are flooding the market to stash, hide, and sometimes launder their money." That intrigued me, because I had done some research into Manhattan condos selling for $20 million and up. Read More ›

The Homeless Mascots of “the Anointed”

Sowell wrote that homeless individuals often became "mascots of the anointed." Sleeping-on-the-streets miseries "enable the anointed to score points against a benighted society." Sowell wrote about requests that homeless advocates receive: "We need a witness for a hearing. Can you get us a homeless family: mother, father — father out of work in the past four months from an industrial plant — white?" Read More ›

Dumpster Fire in Seattle’s Chinatown Evidence of Poor Leadership

Drug Addicts Suspected Witnesses reported flames and smoke billowing out of a building Tuesday evening in Seattle’s Chinatown-ID. In reality, biz owners say it was a dumpster fire which is so symbolic of what’s happening in this neighborhood. Of course drug addicts are suspected of causing this chaos. Meanwhile, Councilmember Tammy Morales has abandoned Asian Americans in her district. And at this point, constituents are also losing patience with Mayor Bruce Harrell. 12th Ave & Jackson St should be declared a war zone. Next to Asian Grocery Store Right next to an Asian grocery store. Typical.

Assaulted While Filming at “Safe Consumption Site” in Vancouver, B.C.

The Mayhem of Open-Air Drug Use Chasing the truth can be risky. A drug addict assaulted me while I was recording outside a so-called safe consumption site in Vancouver, B.C. Thankfully the cops swooped in and neutralized the threat. We Heart Seattle’s Andrea Suarez and I made it out unscathed. Afterwards, an officer admitted these facilities continue to attract crime, chaos, and death to this community. Other cities in North America have been put on notice. The Horrific Drug Scene in Vancouver, B.C.

“I Thought I Saw the Worst in Seattle” Vancouver B.C. has the most horrific drug scene I have ever witnessed in North America. Discovery Institute and We Heart Seattle teamed up to learn more about what’s fueling this hell on earth. So-called “safe consumption sites” and non-profits giving away drug supplies like candy have trapped addicts in a vicious cycle. We did not see a single agency intentionally offering detox or treatment to anyone on the streets. This is failed public policy in action. Who Is Listening? My colleague Chris Rufo sounded the alarm back in 2020. The policy makers failed to heed his warning. The Harm in Vancouver’s “Harm Reduction” approach to drug use (city-journal.org)
