King County to Vote on Closure of Juvenile Detention Center

Happening Now King County Council expected to vote today on future of youth jail, home to violent juvenile felons responsible for murders, rapes and other sexual assaults. There are more than 100 people signed up to testify so it could be awhile. But the angle I’m following right now is the number of non-profits that could benefit financially from a jail closure. Many of the representatives are here testifying. Always follow the money trail. County Executive Plans to Eventually Close Jail Dow Constantine originally proposed to shut down the juvenile jail by 2025 and shift responsibilities to private organizations. But due to a recent string of insane crimes by juveniles, he later pushed back the proposed closure date to 2028. King Read More ›

A Homeless Woman Slashes a Tire — Should She Be Held Accountable?

Chaos Following Assault In King County, the lack of accountability is part of the culture and fueling problems on the streets. After I got pepper sprayed outside Dow Constantine’s drug camp on Wednesday, a Community Passageways worker saw the commotion and tried to victim blame me. He wouldn’t give me his name, but he essentially said I brought the attack on myself for trying to interview homeless people. Thankfully, a neighbor saw what was happening and backed me up. But then this social worker got out of his BMW, left it running in the middle of the street, and started running his mouth. During this encounter, witnesses says a young homeless woman from the camp rode over on her scooter, Read More ›

Homeless Man Steals from Target to Support Drug Addiction

This Happens Daily I just confronted a homeless fentanyl addict ransacking the Target store inside the Bellevue Marketplace at Factoria. I watched him fill his cart with stolen items and walk out. Workers say this happens daily. Mall security eventually stopped him but did not call cops to arrest him. Now you know why everyday household items are locked up. All part of doing business in lawless King County. Tattoo On His Right Hand Mr. Sticky Fingers says he’s homeless and lives on the streets of Seattle. Mall workers say he’s been spotted in Bellevue before and likely uses public transportation to go back and forth. Aside from the braided hair, he’s missing a few teeth and has a tattoo Read More ›
