Police Respond to Fight at Church Migrant Encampment

Tensions Rise Late Tuesday evening, police say a fight erupted on the grounds of Riverton Park United Methodist Church in Tukwila, home to hundreds of people seeking asylum. One of the migrant men allegedly showed a knife but no one got stabbed. It’s unclear if anyone was taken into custody but cops say everything is now under control. Drain on Resources The 911 calls to the church for fights and other altercations continue to drain resources from the city. Violent Fights There are reports of violent fights between minors and adults, along with dozens of calls to the police for other criminal activities.

Seattle Police Release Body Cam Arresting Activists at City Hall

Law and Order Seattle Police sending a strong law and order message with release of body cam footage showing far-left activists being arrested during a protest for illegal immigrants in City Council Chambers. Six people have been charged for the Feb. 27 incident. Murderer Stayed at Low-Barrier Church Shelter, Leaders Knew of Allegations

Breaking Arrest finally made in Burien homeless homicide investigation. Authorities say Nathaniel Scott stabbed Robert Thomas multiple times under the 146th Street bridge in December and left him to die. Scott allegedly confessed, but said the knife was simply used as a deterrent after Thomas blocked his pathway. Both men were homeless at the time. Court documents show Scott was living at the controversial Oasis Home Church encampment. Burien Community Support Coalition led by former city councilmember Cydney Moore is still running daily operations at the camp. She has not responded to my requests for comment.
