Exclusive Tuesday evening, witnesses say a man carrying a gun unloaded at least 30 rounds in the direction of people sitting on the steps behind DESC’s Navigation Center (@DESCSeattle) in Little Saigon. One homeless man in his 50’s was hit in the buttocks. Victim stumbled to the corner of 12th Ave & Weller St where first responders arrived and took him to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. Apparently he was not the intended target. Shooter is still on the loose. The Navigation Center is one of several problematic homeless shelters in or around Chinatown-ID. Slow Night Just hours after a shooting near 12th Ave & Jackson St. Tuesday evening, the open air drug den and black market of stolen goods only had around 60 people. Most nights this place is packed with more than 100 peeps. How low are you willing to go if you are trying to flip a stolen toy kitchen for $10 bucks? For real. Another Encampment Shooting Late Monday evening, multiple witnesses in Belltown sent me video showing officers responding to a shooting at 2nd Ave & Blanchard St. My sources on the ground say the victim was targeted and “had it coming to them.” What led up to all this remains unclear. Victim’s condition is unknown and so far no arrests. This is a well known stretch for 911 calls, open air drug use, and tent encampments in the city. Earlier this month, street preacher Matthew Meinecke and I searched for Kaylee Gordon at this location. It’s also right around the corner from REACH, Plymouth housing, and other social service agencies. CM Andrew Lewis’ (@cmandrewjlewis) district remains a war zone.

Tammy Town is Breaking Another violent evening in South Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood. Police say a 39 year old man is in critical condition after being shot Friday night near a homeless encampment on 25th Ave S. Neighbors have been complaining about this camp for months. CM Tammy Morales (@CMTammyMorales, @TammyMoralesSEA) continues to ignore the problem in her district and is actually against Mayor Bruce Harrell’s (@MayorofSeattle) encampment removal strategy. I still don’t know why the Mayor puts up with Morales. When will Morales come out to face her constituents about these concerns? This is Depressing After a press conference this week calling out Councilmember Tammy Morales (@CMTammyMorales, @TammyMoralesSEA) for failing her district on public safety, you would think she would be out here on a Saturday afternoon trying to re-assure her constituents. But she remains MIA. Once again, most of the insanity is at the corner of 12th Ave & Jackson St. I recorded several fentanyl deals happening in broad daylight, people passed out on the streets, and a woman who kept flashing people with her breasts. It’s a War Zone Authorities say another shooting in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood leaves one man dead. Incident happened early Thursday morning on the 2100 block of 3rd Ave. “Officers attempted life-saving measures until Seattle Fire Department personnel arrived. Despite all life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead. The circumstances that led up to the shooting are unknown at this time.” No word yet if anyone has been arrested. The violence continues in the heart of the city. This is just a few minutes away from the Space Needle and shopping district. Stabbing Rampage New body cam video shows Ismail Brown being arrested after he allegedly stabbed Tin Vi Pham nearly 20 times on a Sound Transit train (@SoundTransit, @SoundTransitCEO) last month. Brown is scheduled to be in court again on Tuesday. Look at the professionalism being shown by Seattle Police Officers (@SeattlePD) after this violent encounter. Based on the narrative, several passengers are also being called heroes for intervening on Pham’s behalf. Authorities say one rider used his duffle bag to soften the blows from this unprovoked knife attack. Brown is a repeat offender with clear signs of mental illness. Exclusive Another terrifying incident along a Washington State Dept. of Transportation (@wsdot) right of way in Seattle. Friday evening, WSP (@wastatepatrol) confirms someone hurled a brick/rock through the windshield of a moving car traveling on 90E. This is near the ramp to the highway off Rainier Ave S. It’s an area that continues to deal with homeless encampments and mentally ill people roaming the streets. Authorities say somehow, the driver did not suffer serious injuries and is handling all of this through insurance. So far no suspects or arrests.
